1. Who we are
BizXtract provides a Windows desktop application for business discovery and related licensing through this website. There is no separate legal entity name beyond BizXtract for this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Purchase and delivery: email address and plan details needed to send a license key and confirm payment via Paddle.
- Licensing: license key state, activation metadata, and device identifiers used to bind and validate licenses and free-tier usage.
- Free-tier usage: counters such as crawls per day to enforce published limits.
- Operations: limited payment-failure records and server logs for security and reliability.
3. Desktop processing on your machine
Listing data and optional website enrichment run in the desktop app on your computer. Crawl results are stored locally (for example in the app’s local database) unless you export or share them. We do not operate BizXtract as a cloud datastore for your lead lists.
4. Processors and service providers
- Paddle — payment processing and related checkout data
- Resend — transactional license email delivery
- MongoDB hosting — license and related server records
- Cloudflare R2 — distribution of installers / update packages
- Render (or equivalent) — hosting this website and API
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The marketing site uses essential functionality only (for example static assets and a web app manifest). We do not run advertising trackers on these pages.
6. Retention and security
We retain licensing and purchase-related records as needed to provide the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures; no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
7. Your choices
You may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing bizxtract@gmail.com. We may need to retain limited records where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
8. Children
BizXtract is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in multiple regions. By using the Service you understand that information may be transferred to where we or our processors operate.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.
